About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Wren Kitchens, working at our Quartz Facility in Barton-upon-Humber. The successful candidate will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with a 06:00-14:30 working hour.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operational teams to resolve technical issues on machinery.
  • Contribute to a zero-breakdown and zero-stop mentality, reducing maintenance costs and working capital for spare parts.
  • Take ownership of the working area, monitoring key maintenance KPIs such as breakdowns and adopting a service-oriented mindset towards operations.
  • Perform high-quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.
  • Support, suggest, and implement improvements in safety, technology, and process.
  • Carry out PLC fault finding.

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • A fully qualified Electrical Engineer with 18th Edition certification and valid IEE regulations, with at least one year of experience.
  • A time-served Electrician with NVQ level 3.
  • Experience in a similar electrical function and industrial environment.
  • Understanding of PLC systems.
