Care and Support Leader

About the Role
As a Night Senior Carer at Barchester care home, you'll provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling us to deliver quality, person-centred care. Your role involves supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You'll also support the clinical team in areas like medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. Every interaction with our residents is guided by respect for their dignity and preferences, while you contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You
We're looking for individuals with an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You should have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll be warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. We offer ongoing training opportunities to help you grow your career, with many of our Senior Carer Assistants progressing into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
