We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Specialist to join our team at SystemsAccountants. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing, administering, and developing our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems landscape in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
About the Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing a suite of financial systems to support the day-to-day operations of our head office. This includes Oracle FCCS, which we are currently implementing for financial consolidation and reporting. As a newly created role, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to become the systems owner of Oracle FCCS and drive further development of the solution, identifying additional areas of opportunity for process automation as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management, administration, and ongoing development roadmap of the Group Finance team's finance suite, including Oracle FCCS, Sage Intacct, and associated tools.
- Support the testing and maintenance of Oracle FCCS as the system is implemented.
- Act as the first line of support on system issues and queries.
- Drive continuous improvement for systems and processes.
- Ensure the system control environment is effective and that system configuration and maintenance tasks are fully documented.
- Manage the roll-out of new releases, ensuring the system is adequately tested prior to the changes being applied to the live system.
- Identify new opportunities for systems automation, including IFRS reporting and financial planning.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, we require candidates to have demonstrable experience in a finance systems environment, particularly within EPM/CPM systems such as Oracle FCCS, HFM, Infor d/EPM, SAP BPC, OneStream, IBM Cognos Controller, TM1, Tagetik. Strong business acumen and finance knowledge are essential. Knowledge of a General Ledger system is highly desirable but not essential.
