Job Summary

Network Open is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team as a Regional Optometrist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing eye care services to patients in the South East of England.

About the Role

  • As a Regional Optometrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality eye care services to patients in their homes, care homes, and other community settings.
  • You will work independently, making autonomous decisions and using your professional expertise to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Our team provides a supportive and collaborative environment, with full access to logistical, administrative, and clinical support.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a range of patients, including those with complex eye conditions and increased pathology.
  • Our services are designed to bring eye care to those who cannot easily access it, and you will be at the forefront of this mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality eye care services to patients in their homes, care homes, and other community settings.
  • Use your professional expertise to provide exceptional patient care, including adapting your communication style to build instant and lasting relationships.
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales targets, while ensuring that every patient receives an outstanding experience.
  • Participate in clinical and commercial reviews, contributing to the development of our services and the improvement of patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and contribute to the development of our clinical and commercial strategies.

Requirements

  • Be a qualified Optometrist with experience in domiciliary care.
  • Have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to our mission to bring eye care to those who need it most.
  • Be commercially astute and able to work independently, making autonomous decisions.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
