Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at HC One. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, planning and preparing meals, and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional culinary care. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service.
  • Plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the culinary experience for our residents.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Head Chef in a care or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of managing a kitchen team and ensuring high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition and dietetics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
