Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will provide academic, social, and emotional support to students, working closely with teachers to create a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized or small-group support to students, helping them to overcome academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, motivation, and well-being.
  • Learning Materials: Prepare and maintain learning materials, resources, and equipment to support student learning.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, promoting a sense of community and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably in a teaching assistant or support role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Qualifications: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
