We are looking for a talented Visual Effects Specialist to join our passionate and growing Art team, to work across all our exciting unannounced projects in development.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating awe-inspiring visuals, helping to create the atmosphere for the various adventures our players go on. This includes crafting compelling lighting that meets art and design requirements, and adapting to new workflows and technical limitations.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates understanding of lighting, both artistically and technically, and will be able to collaborate cross-discipline to support game needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with lead and art team to create beautiful visuals using our in-house engine.
  • Adapt to new workflows and technical limitations.
  • Craft compelling lighting that meets art and design requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-discipline to support game needs.
  • Be proactive in communications and seeking feedback.
  • Manage tasks effectively and communicate updates on progress.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio which demonstrates understanding of lighting, both artistically and technically.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of lighting real time game engines (Unreal, Unity, or similar).
  • Demonstratable developing art sense (lighting, colour theory and image composition).
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to improve.
  • Possess a team-oriented attitude towards collaboration and communication.
  • Willingness to learn time management and task prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrates a passion for games and lighting.
