Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the Uttoxeter area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading FMCG business as they continue to expand their engineering function.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process, reducing costly inefficiencies and maintaining the integrity and safety of the equipment.

You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless operations and be involved in the training and development of apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repair and maintenance work to ensure the working area is left in a clean and safe condition.
  • Maintain all machinery, plant, and buildings to the required standards and in line with current health and safety legislation.
  • Install and modify equipment to ensure it is safe, reliable, and efficient.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

You will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders.
