Graduate Finance Officer Apprenticeship

Sheffield City Council is seeking motivated and talented graduates to join its Finance and Commercial Services team as Graduate Finance Officer Apprentices. This 3.5-year fully-funded Masters Level 7 Apprenticeship programme leads to a professional accountancy qualification with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

The apprenticeship includes work placements across a range of Council finance teams to gain valuable, real-life work experience. Upon successful completion, apprentices will transition into a permanent role in the Finance service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, three GCSEs, grades A-C, and two A-Levels, grades A-C, or accepted equivalent

  • Aspire to fulfil the standards of the apprenticeship and qualification, managing both work and study
  • Able to work with a diverse range of individuals
