Electrical Shift Leader Opportunity

SonDR is currently recruiting an Electrical Shift Leader on behalf of one of the leading data centre clients in the UK. This position offers a unique chance to work on a fast-growing data centre project, with a pattern of 4on/4off, 12 hour shifts.

This role comes with career potential and opportunities for further growth, driven by the expansion of additional data centre halls. You will be working for a data centre client that is one of the leading providers globally, consistently growing and seeking to recruit a shift leader for one of their key sites.

To ensure routine maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements, you will support the contract requirements as a High Voltage and Low Voltage Authorised person. This includes providing switching schedules, planned and reactive support to all electrical systems.

You will be responsible for preparing and adhering to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices. Additionally, you will ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.

Requirements include a City & Guilds Level 2 standard or above in Electrical Engineering, previous critical environment/data centre experience, 18th Edition, and HV AP-current or expired.
