Job Title: Tax Accountant - EMEA Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our EMEA team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with all necessary VAT, GST, and EC Sales Lists returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing accounting GL details, preparation of VAT return journals, quarterly reconciliation of VAT accounts and prompt payment to the relevant tax authorities.
- Assist Accounts Receivable/Payable on the correct VAT treatment of our products and invoicing requirements and provide VAT advice (with the support of tax team) to internal stakeholders across the businesses.
- Work closely with the Global Tax Team, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting & Accounting.
- Assist in carrying out research on various tax topics.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate tax matters, including but not limited to the preparation of tax returns and tax provisions.
Requirements:
- Indirect tax specialist either ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified.
- High proficiency in MS Excel.
