Quality Assurance Supervisor Opportunity

Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a leading food business to find a skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their Technical & Quality function at their Hertfordshire site.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of the site's QMS and Food Safety Systems. As Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will support the technical function with leading the HACCP team, auditing, investigating customer complaints, and deputising for the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and maintenance of QMS and other food safety systems
  • Coordination of the hygiene team
  • Reviewing and maintenance of internal product quality specs and due diligence
  • Investigation of customer complaints
  • Staff training for all new and existing staff
  • Deputising for the Quality Manager as required
Requirements
  • 2-3 years experience working in a similar role within a chilled food environment
  • HACCP and Food Safety level 3+ required
