Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in Hertfordshire, specializing in the care of children and young people with eating disorders. This rewarding role involves managing a complex caseload and being responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitating group activities, and contributing to ICR meetings. You will work closely with the Safeguarding Lead to ensure seamless communication and effective service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with service users.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough social care assessments and risk assessments
• Facilitate group activities and contribute to ICR meetings
• Work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Lead to ensure effective service delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in 1:1 supervision and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
• HCP registration
• Social Work England registration
• A Social Work degree
• Experience working within similar environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
