Visitor Experience Coordinator

At The Royal Household, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Visitor Experience Coordinator to join our team at The Palace of Holyroodhouse. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a real difference in the lives of our visitors, delivering an exceptional experience that exceeds their expectations.
About the Role:
- Develop and deliver engaging experiences for visitors, enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of the Royal Collection and local area.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a seamless visitor journey, ensuring every visitor has an exceptional experience from welcome to goodbye.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Royal Collection and local area, enabling you to provide accurate and informative responses to visitor questions.
- Contribute to the maintenance of high presentation standards throughout the day, ensuring the visitor route is well-managed and welcoming.
- Be aware of and comply with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures, prioritising visitor safety and security at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver interactive experiences that engage and inspire visitors, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Royal Collection and local area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective visitor engagement strategies, ensuring every visitor has a memorable experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to visitor queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for colleagues, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional visitor experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate visitor feedback, using insights to inform future improvements and developments.
About You:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities as necessary.
Salary:
£12.60 per hour
