About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Renewi. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize SCADA and HMI systems to monitor process conditions and perform fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Report any poor maintenance practices or deviations from company standards to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Manage work orders and resources through our CMMS system to ensure efficient maintenance delivery.
  • Assist in mechanical plant upgrades and maintenance activities as assigned by the Lifecycle Team Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong fault diagnosis and rectification skills on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand PIDs and mechanical schematics, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Good working knowledge of rotating machinery, shaft alignment, machinery mounting, service equipment, conveying systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Competence in the use of machine tools and hand tools for maintenance activities.
  • Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Working knowledge of PTW and LOTO systems.
