Our client, a leading research and development company in the UK, is seeking an experienced Analytical Lead Specialist to join their team in Cardiff.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead analytical projects, ensuring top-notch quality, integrity, and scientific excellence while building strong customer relationships. They will also be responsible for developing and integrating new capabilities using foundational knowledge and the latest industry and academic advancements to enhance the business' scientific offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Analytical Projects: Take the helm as the Analytical Lead on customer projects, ensuring quality, integrity, and scientific excellence while building strong customer relationships.
  • Innovate and Integrate: Develop and integrate new capabilities using your foundational knowledge and the latest industry and academic advancements to enhance the business' scientific offerings.
  • Method Development: Create and validate innovative analytical methods for small molecule intermediates, APIs, and drug products (such as LC/GC-MS), delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Problem Solving: Collaborate with other teams to tackle analytical challenges and troubleshoot instruments, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Digital Tools: Leverage digital tools to provide rapid and efficient process understanding for clients.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for science and a knack for solving complex problems. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, 25 days' holiday (increasing with tenure) plus private medical cover, life cover, and pension scheme options. You will also have access to volunteering days and other enhanced company benefits.
