About Us

CatSci Ltd. is a company that provides analytical services to the pharmaceutical industry, and we are currently seeking an experienced Analytical Science Lead to join our team as an Autonomy Software Dependability Scientist.

This permanent role offers a salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days' holiday, private medical cover, life cover, pension scheme options, and volunteering days.

Key Responsibilities

As an Autonomy Software Dependability Scientist at CatSci Ltd., you will be responsible for acting as the Analytical Lead on customer projects, taking personal responsibility for the quality, integrity, communication, and delivery of science on your projects. You will apply digital tools and approaches to deliver fast and efficient process understanding for our clients, ensuring strong safety standards in the laboratory and compliance with safety principles.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) and PhD advantageous. Experience in analytical science with expertise in a field applied to the development of pharmaceutical products or related chemical industries is essential. Proven ability to develop scientifically sound and robust methods of analysis using HPLC, GC, and other related techniques is also required. Experience in writing clear reports from complex analytical data, drawing clear conclusions, and communicating in technical language is essential.

Desirable Skills

An appreciation of, or expertise in, synthetic chemistry, physical organic, and/or catalysis would be advantageous. Well-developed data management and visualisation skills are also desirable. Passion for science is essential, as a member of the AnalytiSci team your role contributes to the success of the organisation.
