Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Radiation Safety and Transport Specialist, ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous materials within our organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of transport activities.
  • Manage relationships with external transport providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to radiation safety standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on radiation safety procedures and protocols.
About the Opportunity

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, including:

  • Annual leave starting at 25 days, increasing by one day every two years up to 30 days, plus 13 additional flexible days off.
