We're looking for a skilled and compassionate support worker to join our team at Sonderwell, providing complex care to individuals in their own homes.

About the Role

You'll be working as part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality care that enables our clients to live the life they choose. Your role will involve providing tracheostomy care, ventilation care, seizure management, peg feeding, and suctioning.

  • Tracheostomy care: assisting with changing tracheostomy tubes, maintaining airway patency, and monitoring for complications.
  • Ventilation care: managing ventilators, performing routine checks, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Seizure management: recognising and responding to seizures, administering medication as prescribed, and providing post-incident care.
  • Peg feeding: preparing and administering feedings, managing tube site care, and monitoring for signs of malfunction.
  • Suctioning: performing suctioning procedures, managing secretions, and preventing aspiration.

In addition to your clinical skills, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with our clients and their families.
