Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our team at bet365. As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and propose data-driven solutions.

You will assist in the creation and implementation of rules-based or machine learning models, collaborate with stakeholders to develop data visualisation techniques, and provide expert advice on data science principles and methods.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a full-time position, and we require exceptional technical ability, statistical knowledge, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or similar discipline.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Basic understanding of data science principles and methods.
  • Ability to deliver solutions through quantitative research using multiple data sources.
  • Self-motivated researching and delivering change within the department.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with staff and key stakeholders throughout the operation; identifying and undertaking the appropriate course of escalation.
