Regulatory Affairs Specialist: Driving Compliance in the Chemicals Industry

Lifelancer, a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences and IT, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to deliver regulatory consultancy services to the chemicals industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on pesticides and biocides under Plant Protection Products and Biocidal Products Regulation
- Prepare and compile registration dossiers for clients operating within UK and EU markets
- Analyse data gaps and advise on testing strategies to ensure compliance with relevant chemical legislation
- Develop strong relationships with clients and regulatory authorities to drive projects forward
- Lead and manage project delivery to meet technical standards and commercial agreements
- Mentor junior team members and provide training and advice to support the Head of Regulatory Affairs
Person Specification:
- A degree or higher in chemistry or a relevant science subject is essential
- Experience in PPP regulatory affairs or registrations, particularly in chemistry and analytical methods, is required
- Familiarity with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 is mandatory, while knowledge of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 is desirable
- Understanding of associated registration procedures and data requirements is crucial
- The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, capable of demonstrating innovative approaches to solving complex problems
Salary and Benefits:
