About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cancer Services Lead to join our team at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for leading the SACT Day Unit and overseeing the entire cancer pathway within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, educate, and supervise our nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Clinical Governance: Support colleagues to deliver clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and contribute to audits and clinical governance.
  • Service Development: Influence service development, policies, and strategies to create the best patient-focused, holistic treatment and care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • At least four years' senior experience in managing cancer patients throughout the cancer pathway.
  • Postgraduate qualification relating to cancer care, and ideally, a qualification in teaching or assessment.
