The Role
MTrec Technical is seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and wiring control panels, cabinets, and sub-assemblies. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assembly of control panel back-plates with components/trunking
  • Following panel layout, schematics diagrams, and reading engineering drawings
  • Marking of devices and labelling
  • Wiring, cutting, stripping, crimping, and fitting of buzz bars
  • Working with back plates, filling frame-work
  • Working with switchboards
  • Wiring of electrical devices including cable management and termination
  • Experience with use of hand tools and power tools

The Person
We are looking for a self-disciplined and reliable individual with excellent inter-personnel communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, determined, and self-disciplined.
