About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in St Albans. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, including some field work. You will also be involved in accounts preparation for non-audit clients, reviewing work prepared by junior staff members, and corporate tax computations.

As a Senior Audit and Accounts professional, you will have a sound understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, auditing standards, and corporate tax. You will be an excellent communicator and have a drive to deliver an excellent level of service. You will also have experience of accounting and audit software, and be able to confidently present work to Managers, completing files to a high standard.

We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual who is eager to progress and take on a supervisory role within the firm. You will have a clear pathway of professional development and a flexible approach to ensuring staff enjoy a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Accounts preparation for non-audit clients
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff members
