Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Health Partnership Volunteer. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in need within the Norwich community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional support services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting individuals with essential tasks such as food shopping and household chores
  • Delivering food parcels and providing companionship
  • Signing up for one-off activities or ongoing support for someone over a few weeks

A successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and be able to commit to volunteering at least 30 minutes per week. You will be supported throughout the recruitment process by a local Volunteer Connector, including training and a DBS check. Estimated salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum.

Norfolk and Waveney Community Support Service is a partnership between Voluntary Norfolk, British Red Cross, and Age UK Norwich, working together to provide a vital service for those who have just left the hospital or require extra support at home during challenging times.
