Chevron Traffic Management is a leading provider of traffic management services, and we are seeking an experienced Assistant Estimator to join our team.

Job Summary

The Assistant Estimator will assist the commercial and operational team in ensuring efficient contract delivery and assisting with the preparation and compilation of 'in contract' quotations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and build client relationships
  • Manage client portals, inclusive of prompt responses / data upload
  • Review client challenges in relation to submissions
  • Liaise with Operational Leads to understand scheme requirements
  • Review Traffic Management Design
  • Compile Target Cost backup substantiation sheet for clients
  • Undertake review and pricing compensation events
  • Attend weekly and monthly update meetings between commercial and operations
  • Update of scheme and contract register

Requirements

  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within a commercial setting
  • Knowledge and experience of Temporary Traffic Management
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software – especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve
  • Ability to build new and existing relationships with Clients and suppliers
  • Full UK Driving Licence
