Bartlett Swann is recruiting on behalf of a prominent Mechanical and Electrical services provider in the building services industry. Our client specialises in delivering high-quality solutions for large-scale projects across key sectors such as Data Centres, Logistics, Industrial, and Commercial. As anElectrical Estimator, youll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely estimates for electrical projects from pre-tender through to post-tender stages. Initially based in the Wolverhampton office, with the option for hybrid working after 3-6 months, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing project costs post-completion to assess performance against the budget, driving continuous improvements.
Producing accurate take-offs, using estimating software to fully understand project costs.
Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries, ensuring compliance with specifications and project needs.
Identifying value engineering and product substitution opportunities where relevant.
Have previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or experience preparing electrical estimates in the building services industry.
Have experience in sectors like Data Centres, Amazon Fulfilment Centres, or other large-scale industrial projects.
Hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
Possess knowledge of electrical installations (preferred but not essential).
