Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to the individual, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing and dressing, as needed.
- Encourage and support the individual to make life choices and participate in social activities.
- Support the individual to safeguard their property, health, and wellbeing, and take appropriate action in emergency situations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the individual's family, friends, and community, promoting their inclusion and participation.
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as housework, shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
- Treat the individual with dignity and respect, recognising their rights to make their own choices.
- Work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and other professionals to achieve their outcomes and goals.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
- Person-centred and empathetic, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual and their family.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and situations.
