**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join our team at HMP Shotts. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
- Required to undertake on the job training and induction
- Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.

**Contract type**:
Permanent

Part Time

20 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

This role will be based in Prisoner Healthcare within HMP Shotts
