NOV Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Generator Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking operations of rental/sale packages in line with NOV procedures, including scheduled maintenance, repairs, enhancements/refurbishment, P&ID walk downs, electrical completion checks, factory acceptance tests, function/loop checks, instrument checks, site acceptance tests.
  • Liaising with Workshop Supervisor, Project teams, Management, Clients and Vendors relating to their operational activities.
  • Preparing, reviewing and fulfilling work orders required for these operational activities.
  • Providing after sales services including inspections, spares, advice/recommendations, liaising with engineering departments as necessary.
  • Participating in out of hours on-call rota, providing industry leading service support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition (desirable).
  • City & Guilds HV Switching & System Control 0672 (desirable).
  • COMPEX (desirable).

Skills, Training or Special Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of industry standards.
  • Diesel driven generators (desirable).
  • Gas driven generators (desirable).
  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook).
