Job Title: Generator Technician

We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team at Euthenia Recruitment Ltd/T.A.2020 Recruitment. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for supporting and servicing our portable power business within Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduled maintenance and repairs of diesel driven generators and ancillary equipment
  • Enhancements and refurbishment of equipment
  • Performing P&ID walk downs, electrical completion checks, factory acceptance tests, function/loop checks, and instrument checks
  • Liaising with workshop supervisors, project teams, management, clients, and vendors
  • Providing after-sales services, including inspections, spares, advice, and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • City & Guilds qualifications (desirable)
  • Electrical knowledge within installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance environments
  • Interpretation and marking up of engineering drawings
  • Deep Sea control systems and PLC programming skills (desirable)
  • Cummins, Iveco, Perkins engine experience
Package:
  • Hourly rate of £17.50 PAYE
  • £250 per day if offshore
  • Potential of permanent contract
