About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at Scantec Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of civil and structural analysis, including calculations, reports, and specifications.
  • Effectively communicate designs to Building Information Modeling (BIM) teams for accurate and timely project delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
  • Present confidently and authoritatively to clients, ensuring their requirements are met and maintaining a strong professional relationship.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in civil or structural engineering within the nuclear, oil & gas, or process industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex civil and structural engineering projects.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical designs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in site visits and interfacing with construction teams and clients.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities for junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) preferred.
