Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sustainable Resourcing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with our construction and project management teams to manage and monitor the commercial aspects of our projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
* Liaise with our Senior Surveyor and Senior Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
* Collaborate with our finance, procurement, and estimating teams to ensure that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
* Manage and monitor project plans, associated budgets, costs, and contract terms, with senior surveyor as appropriate.
* Liaise with financial controller, procurement manager, and estimator.
* Valuation of works and collation of associated documentation for CVR, cash flow forecast, and sales forecast.
* Discussion with client and counter-signing of documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical - qualified, or nearing completion of, eg AIOB, FIOB, RICS or Degree in surveying and experienced senior / managing surveyor within construction industry.
* CSCS card - visitor's card or as required by client.
* Programme and project management - working knowledge of GANTT charts including interpretation of requirements and tracking of financial information.
* CRB/Disclosure checked as required for specific sites eg schools.
