Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate leader to join our residential care team at Barchester Healthcare.

Job Summary

Barchester Healthcare is committed to delivering exceptional person-centred support and care for residents. As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for leading a team of carers to provide high-quality care and support that meets the needs of residents with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and motivate a team of carers to deliver high-quality care and support that meets the needs of residents
  2. Administer and order medication, review and update resident care plans and risk assessments
  3. Liaise with GP's, district nursing teams, and resident family members to ensure comprehensive care
  4. Support the development of a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that fosters resident well-being
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Proven experience in residential care with strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions to support resident needs and well-being
