Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer with a proven track record in residential property law to join our team. As a key member of our Residential Property team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to clients, focusing on sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on residential property matters.
  • Liaise with clients, agents, and introducers to provide updates on transaction progress.
  • Ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Manage your own caseload with the support of an assistant and provide support to fellow team members.
  • Participate in business development opportunities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (minimum 3 years PQE), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Expertise in key areas of law and procedure related to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • Commercial and financial awareness, including the ability to take responsibility for the financial control of client matters.
  • Ability to develop positive client relationships and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Marketing, networking, and business development skills in line with the role.
