About the Role

Thornton Legal is seeking an Experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their Residential Conveyancing team in Chester. As a key member of the team, you will provide essential support to a Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer, assisting with both administrative and legal aspects of conveyancing transactions. Your role will involve ensuring cases progress smoothly from instruction to completion, while maintaining high-quality legal services and professional integrity.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a conveyancing assistant or similar support role within a residential conveyancing department.
  • A strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant legal technology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a problem-solving mindset.
