Exciting Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with complex needs.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching team to provide academic and vocational support to students aged 5-19 who have social, emotional struggles, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
  • Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
  • Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
  • Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.

  • Willing to support outdoor and community-based learning activities.
  • Educated to at least Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
