We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Paediatrics Consultant to join our team. As a fixed-term consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert care for children with cardiac conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, friendly rural NHS Trust that provides high-quality care to over 250,000 people across west Suffolk. The trust cares for, treats, and supports patients in hospital, at home, and in various community settings.

As a Cardiac Paediatrics Consultant, you will work collaboratively with the trust's existing PEC and cardiology specialist nurse to provide comprehensive care for children with cardiac conditions. You will also participate in on-call rota (1:16) for General Paediatrics and Neonates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care for children with cardiac conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the trust's existing PEC and cardiology specialist nurse.
  • Participate in on-call rota (1:16) for General Paediatrics and Neonates.
Requirements
  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Paediatrics or be within six months of attaining a Certificate of Completion of Training at the time of interview.
  • Special Interest (SPIN) in Cardiology.
  • Experience and training in child protection Level 3.
  • Echocardiography Training.
  • Experience in a wide variety of general specialist Paediatrics in a senior role in the UK.
Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £85,000 and £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
