Delegated Underwriting Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delegated Underwriting Onboarding Analyst to join our team in London for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. As a key member of our Underwriting and Delegated Underwriting team(s), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding of Coverholder/MGA documentation and administration of the Coverholder/MGA Approval Workflow Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational review and analysis of Coverholder/MGA documentation.
  • Day-to-day administration of the Coverholder/MGA Approval Workflow Platform, chasing stakeholders for outstanding actions and escalating as necessary.
  • Administration of key areas of the Everest International DA portfolio to key stakeholders, adhering to internal Group and external regulatory minimum standards.
  • Challenge received due diligence where necessary from Coverholder/MGAs.
  • Consistent and accurate third-party counterparty analysis and measurement against current codes of practice.
  • Assistance with coordinated performance meetings between Coverholder/MGA, Everest underwriters, and DU team(s).
  • Centralized operational day-to-day support and coordination for internal or external audits of Everest International's DU portfolio.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant experience in operational delegated underwriting authority or syndicate underwriting support roles.
  • Experience with a Lloyd's Managing Agent/Insurance Co.
  • Relevant experience of technical reviews of Agreements and relevant Coverholder/MGA insurance documentation (training will be provided).
  • Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think proactively and offer solutions to problems.
  • Extensive technology experience, including PAS, DMS, Workflow, and MS Office suite.
  • Strong prioritization and time-keeping skills.
  • Use of Management Information tools.
