About the Role


An activities coordinator at Bupa is a vital member of our care home team. They are responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our residents, designing and implementing activities that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.


The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to planning and delivering activities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with our care teams to develop tailored activity plans that meet the needs and interests of our residents.


Key Responsibilities



  • Design and deliver a range of activities, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and games
  • Organise and coordinate events and outings, such as garden parties and trips to local attractions
  • Work with external companies and performers to bring entertainment and enrichment to our residents
  • Support our residents with one-to-one activities, such as reminiscence therapy and puzzles
  • Manage budgets and maintain records of activity planning and delivery

What You'll Need


To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a creative and organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll have a passion for working with older adults and a commitment to delivering high-quality activities that promote their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing.
