Job Title: Assembly Production Manager

Role Overview:

We seek a seasoned Manufacturing Leader to oversee engineering and manufacturing at our Dinnington and Northallerton facilities. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to drive high performance, collaboration, and growth within engineering and operations teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to boost innovation, efficiency, and meet business goals across all departments.
  • Project Management: Oversee engineering projects, managing budgets, schedules, and risks from concept to completion.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Lead production processes, ensuring on-time delivery, quality control, and cost targets are met.
  • Performance Optimization: Track and improve key performance indicators, identifying areas for process enhancements.
  • Logistics Management: Optimize logistics, transportation, and warehousing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations, driving a culture of accountability.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing management, with a proven period spent in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams and projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical engineering, with a focus on industrial equipment and systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems, project management tools, and other operational software applications.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
