Job Title: Manufacturing & Production Work

At Safetykleen, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Leader to oversee all aspects of engineering and manufacturing at our facilities in Dinnington and Northallerton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost innovation, efficiency, and meet business goals across all departments.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to drive high performance, collaboration, and growth within engineering and operations teams.
  • Oversee engineering projects, managing budgets, schedules, and risks from concept to completion.
  • Lead production processes, ensuring on-time delivery, quality control, and cost targets are met.
  • Track and improve key performance indicators, identifying areas for process enhancements.
  • Optimise logistics, transportation, and warehousing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations, driving a culture of accountability.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing management, with a proven period spent in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams and projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical engineering, with a focus on industrial equipment and systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems, project management tools, and other operational software applications.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
