Management Accountant Role at De Vere

De Vere is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team at our Head Office in Harrogate. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and providing strategic leadership to our De Vere Property Finance Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Management Accounts function, overseeing month-end accounting processes and producing reports.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting, as well as handle VAT returns and internal audits.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Finance and the finance team to provide strategic leadership and support.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills and group intercompany accounting experience are preferable.
  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, etc.) - study support will be provided.
