Job Summary

Analyze information needs and functional requirements with external and internal customers, creating reports, analyzing data, and recommending data input. Maintain accuracy and security of key company data.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Work independently with users to define concepts under project manager direction
  • Apply strong analytical and product management skills to interpret customer business needs
  • Communicate professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Key Result Areas
  • Business System BI Role Centre KPI Ownership
  • Planning, Budgeting & Financial reporting using SQL SSRS methodologies
  • Demand Management & Planning using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and compare against existing SSAS forecast
  • Take responsibility for supplier forecasting process
  • New Project Co-Ordination
  • Information Management & Review
  • Produce monthly Warranty and Complaints data

Combination of reports creation, data mining, major and continual improvement Projects, ad hoc activities, and IT Support.

Technical Requirements
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI Stack)
  • Three years' experience in technical business environment
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL 2012, SQL 2016 experience
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • Cube development experience
  • FileMaker databases experience
  • Excellent analytical, modelling, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office, particularly EXCEL, general computer skills
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, 2012, 2016 experience
  • BSI standards environment experience
  • ITIL standards for internal Report Requests and Change Control procedures experience
  • Data security and handling experience
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
