About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Mail Delivery Driver to join our team in Chester. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across the area.
Job Overview:
This is a temporary role until Christmas, with the possibility of extra hours available. You will work independently, but as part of a larger team, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and to a high standard.

- Deliver mail and parcels to customers across the area
- Work independently, but as part of a larger team
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and to a high standard
- Collect mail from local delivery office and sort it into correct order
- Use hand-held computer device to track route and manage mail
- Be smartly presented and act in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements
- To be relatively fit and healthy, due to the amount of walking required
- To enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions
- To have previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role (although not essential)
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this role is £13.37 per hour, with the possibility of extra hours available. As a delivery driver, you will also benefit from being part of a well-established and respected company, with opportunities for career progression.
