  4. Accompany us on occasional outings to the park for outdoor activities.
  5. Make up beds in the morning, as we can strip them ourselves but may need assistance with making them.
  6. Provide companionship to improve our general wellbeing.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  1. A friendly demeanour and a love for children are essential for this role.
  2. Comfortable around dogs, as we have three adorable Chihuahuas.
  3. Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
  4. The ideal candidate would require a calming, reassuring, caring, and patient nature.
  5. Understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for our privacy.

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The rate of pay for this position is £12.00 per hour.
  2. Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week, time to be discussed further at interview.
  3. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work we would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  4. Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
  5. The post is subject to the following:
    1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
    2. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
    3. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
