Community Safety Specialist

Make a meaningful impact in our community as a Community Safety Specialist.
This role involves leading priority work areas, managing projects, and delivering community safety services. You will work closely with a dynamic team to tackle high-profile community safety issues and anti-social behaviour.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading co-ordinated multi-agency responses to complex cases of anti-social behaviour and community tensions.
- Investigating incidents, identifying support needs, and coordinating responses from other agencies.
- Implementing early interventions and working with partners to take enforcement action when necessary.
- Building relationships and influencing agencies and community groups to respond to community safety priorities.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Specialist knowledge of community safety priorities, backed by evidence of practical experience.
- Knowledge of anti-social behaviour tools and powers available to local authorities.
- Experience of project management and interpersonal skills.
