About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Local Authority Building Inspector to join our team at Job Switch Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site visits to inspect buildings and ensure compliance with building regulations
  2. Assess plans and specifications to identify potential issues
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve regulatory compliance
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Association of Building Engineers
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as building surveying or architecture
  • Proven experience in building control or a related field
