About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at Reed. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our rural and commercial properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tenant Management: Oversee the management of our tenants, including rent collection, lease renewals, and addressing any queries or issues that may arise.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all properties are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Manage and supervise the maintenance team to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and any repairs are carried out promptly.
  • Development Projects: Support the development of new projects, including agricultural to commercial property conversions, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Property Transactions: Assist with the purchase and sale of properties, including due diligence and negotiations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to maximize the profitability and value of our property portfolio.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular performance reports to directors and identify opportunities for expansion and growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in agricultural or commercial property development, with a strong track record of success.
  • Leadership: Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Qualifications: A degree in property management, real estate, construction management, or a related field is preferred, as is recognized qualifications in property management or real estate, such as RICS or CPM.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, financial acumen, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
