We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Consultant to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in General Medicine and associated specialties
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary admissions
- Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate timely and appropriate discharge from secondary care
- Support the General Medical Wards as a Lead Clinician and contribute to the development of our services
- Full registration with the General Medical Council and primary medical qualification
- MRCP or equivalent, with consideration given to applicants who are significantly progressing through the CESR process
- Broad exposure to General Medicine and associated specialties, with a strong interest in research and audit
